Alice, my thoughts and prayers are with you this week. I never knew Fred but I can only say that he was just like you; jovial and fun to be around. My association with you at VBH is one that I enjoy.

Alice, Amy, Linda Gail and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Freddy was so full of life and craziness since I can ever remember. I always looked forward to seeing him at the family reunion. He always kept me laughing and put a smile on my face. I know you all will miss him so much but I also know that you all have many memories to hold on to. I will be thinking about all of you at this sad time.

This is to you Freddy! Out of all our family can I just say that I loved you the most! You were always the "life of the party" and I loved the fact that you always told it like it was. What would a family reunion have been without you (the life of the party) there. I will miss seeing you and talking to you. You always had a big hug for me and made me laugh. I know you are in a peaceful place now and making all the family that went before you laugh. You, daddy and Uncle Haga are probably all reuniting and having the time of your life. I love you and you will be missed.
Love,
Pam

Since I have known The Clements Family all my life there has not been a time at which I didn't enjoy spending a few moments in the company of good 'ole Fred. He could bring a smile to anyones day with his incredible sense of humor and cavalier attitude. I think that the one thing I admired and respected him for the most was his confidence; he was going to say what was on his mind or tell you exactly what he thought whether you liked it or not. What a rare and strong man he was, yet he had a softer side as well. When I was a little girl we'd go out to pick a bouquet of sweetpeas for my mom and his mom and I'll always remember his kindness for how he loved his family. The last time I spoke with him was when he and Alice were going on a trip, I'll miss seeing him enjoy life. I pray that each of his loved ones will be filled with God's grace to endure this loss and find comfort in the precious memories you hold of this wonderful man. Bye for now Fred may you rest in peace my friend!
