Yes, he is missed but not forgotten, I remember when he attended the auction at Clover Hill Farm and all the wonderful reunions of the class of 1955. We are all sorry for his loss, however, his good works and love for life will live forever. Prayers and Blessings to Martha

Dear sweet Martha , I'm still in such a state of shock! I've cried everyday snice his passing! No one will ever be able to replace dear Walter. He was one in a million. My children adored him and you! We are always so excited to get to Virginia to see you both and to listen to all of your fun stories and memories of the past. It will never be the same without him. We love you so much and we are very sorry. All of our love. Steve, Susan, Charlie, Elizabeth, George and Will

Martha, I was reading the letters sent to you in memory of Walter and realized you all have friends all over this United States....Walter was a great person to have known and the 2 of you sure did make for some fun times together...We are all lucky to have been a part of the "Good Times"...All of our children called when we got home to see how you were doing, I told them it was the biggest funeral I had ever seen and probably ever will see. Take care and will keep in touch with the emails.....Glen and Mary Lou

Martha,
It was such a shock when we learned of Walter's death. He was a wonderful friend to everyone, especially all of the young people that were lucky enough to cross his path in life. Beetle & I will have many fond memories of Walter, and of the many different things that Walter did during his lifetime, mostly the funny things he did. Walter will be sorely missed from a lot of lives. You will be held in our thoughts and prayers. Love Beetle & Jane

Dear Martha,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are so glad we got to see both of you last week. Although we do not get to see you often, Walter will be deeply missed. I just happened to remember when you guys came to see me play football in Orleans, France in 1960, a long time ago. We have many fond memories of you and Walter, and look forward to seeing you later this year.

Martha,
Upon receiving your email on Thursday I was in a state of shock and still am. I am so very sorry for your loss. Walter was a wonderful person and I am so very glad that I have been a part of both of your lives. I have always enjoyed coming to visit you both with mom and dad and even had a ball when I ran from the hurricane and made my way to Virginia that one year and stayed with you guys and my Woodside cousins. I am so glad Boo was able to meet Walter! Mom (Billie F. Woodside) has great stories of all of you in your youth. Those stories along with the pictures you have sent me and the antiques you and Walter have given me through the years brings a smile to my face! I am sorry I can not be there for you on Tuesday but please know that you and Walter are in all of our thoughts here in Pensacola.
Love
