Dear Cheryl & family,
George & I came on the job together some 36 yrs ago. I would like to share something that will always remain a special memory of George. My last day on the job I was dispatching 3-11. George sat with me the entire 8 hrs. We shared memories & dinner. He will be missed. Our thoughts are with all of you.

Dear Cheryl and George Jr.
George will forever be in our hearts and souls and we grieve along side of you in this hour of your pain. When it came to any talk regarding the village of Hempstead, George was always in the mix. He is now an angel in Heaven who has yours and our six (a Marine saying) and we shall all feel some comfort in that. May God’s loving embrace surround the both of you now, Cheryl and George.
Sincerely,
Mary MacElveen!

Tina, my heart goes out to you and your family. I was shocked when I read George passed away. I have known you and your family for about 50 years and I have so many funny childhood memories. George was a great brother and friend to you and God will get you through this difficult time. I am sorry I can not be there for you now, but I will call you.
My deepest sympathy,
Susan & Gene Jacobs
