To Billy's family: You don't know me, as I was one of the first people he met when he moved to Shamokin. My sister, Judy, and I were constantly around him and his brothers. I moved away soon after high school so I didn't keep in touch. I'm sorry for your loss. The boy I knew was a fine Christian so I can imagine what an amazing man he became as an adult. I wish I had kept in touch. You will be in my prayers. Kathy Schankweiler von Pelet

My sister and I were good friends of Billy, Danny and Jimmy Tarr when they first moved to Shamokin. Hearing of his passing brought back many memories as I passed that information to my sister, Kathy. Sympathy to his brothers, and also to his wife and children. May your memories sustain you during the next weeks and months. My prayers for all of you that God gives you comfort and fills your heart when you need it the most.

Ruthie, and family. I've been waiting for others to call with details of the service. Jason and I will try to come tomorrow if weather holds. If not, you know we are with you in spirit. I won't shower you with words - I know at this point they are meaningless or you don't hear them. Tommy loved Bill as a brother, and I loved him too - as we do you. You can reach me anytime. All I have is Bill's number. Love you Ruthie. Sharon Painter & Jason McCarty, Body Art in Berryville, VA

To the Family: My heart and mind, now also ache & greive from the loss of one beautiful, caring, extremely talented, and more than just a honestly true friend. Ruth, you know as well as the children also know, what as loss this is to me. Bill was a big brother to me. He gave me so much, so much care and attention, always with the love in his heart. A true true friend till the end.
To my Brother; Bill, we just recently talked when you called me just before Christmas, and we talked about hooking up together to finish my back-piece before I head back to Florida. We laughed our heads off, as we constantly harassed each other, you being the instigator as you so humbly always were. You said something to me that I will carry with me till my last breath. Brother, I know that you are walking with the Lord now, and I just am at a total loss for words to tell you what's going on inside me right now. But you know Bro, you know that we will meet in heaven, and we will give it all we gave it on this earth. Love & Peace Brother. Never to be forgotten.

Bill...I still can't believe it. Your were a best friend and a confidant. Knowing I have your art both on my body and hanging in my home will keep your legacy alive. You were a true legend and a true friend. I will miss you more than words can express. My last memory with you is absolutely amazing...I thank God for that. I love you. RIP.
