Barbara Collins Obituary
Barbara Collins died at the age of 45 on May 13, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, FL. Barbara was born on July 23, 1969 in Nashua, NH and graduated from Nashua Senior High School. She studied at Westfield State University in Westfield, MA and attended Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. Barbara was predeceased by her father Stephen T. Collins. She is survived by her mother Susan Simard of Nashua, NH; her aunt Mary Ann Kelley of Titusville, FL and Chris Zucker and Charles Wilson. Barbara worked with devotion and enthusiasm for over 10 years as a news assistant at The News-Times in Danbury where she made many friends who cared deeply for her. She will be forever missed by all who loved and knew her. A memorial service for Barbara will be held on December 22, 2016 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The American Legion Hall, 7 Elizabeth St., Bethel, CT. All are welcome.
