Angelo has been called to arrange music and lead a big band of legendary musicians such as Charlie Parker, Ben Webster, Louie Armstrong, Jack Teagarden and so many others. This is your biggest gig ever Angelo and you're the man for the job until one day you'll have your old band back together again. I'm going to miss our conversations about music, legendary musicians and cool cars. I was honored and surprised when you wrote, arranged and dedicated Russ's Blues for me. Wow, what can I say, but thank you for your generosity and the memories of a one in a million
guy.

DEAR DIANE,BILLY,VINNY & Rose,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I will never forget what a wonderful man Angelo was. I will never forget how nice he was. I was best friends with Diane. I got my very 1st car, my Volkswagen bug from him, he made sure it ran perfect for me. He took me with the family to Sit n Bull in Lake George. He is now in heaven. I will always remember him. I am so very sorry. God bless you all, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love a life time friend, Debbie Rotunda

When I think about Angelo, an immediate smile appears on my face. He brought joy to me and countless others with his extraordinary wit and warm demeanor. I met Angelo more than 45 years ago through my dear high school friend, Vinny. We would travel to “The Shop” together and watched him in his element as he transformed wrecks into amazing works of beauty with his extraordinary skill.
So many people were amazed by his craftsmanship that they traveled many miles to seek his expertise, most often with their vintage Porsches. Angelo always took the time to ask me about my life and my parents, and he always kept me laughing.
My fondest memory of him was at his home on Belair Drive, where I witnessed him charting music for a full orchestra. While most people compose at a piano, Angelo composed without an instrument scoring for all 25 members of his band, including the brass section, the bass, guitar, and every other instrument in the band. I have never met anyone with such remarkable talent. His charting was a clean work of art. Even after an exhausting day of work, he would sit at his desk with his markers in hand and spend hours doing this. I was fortunate to experience Angelo leading his band during many of their practice sessions in his basement. He was such a special man, married for 71 years to the sweetest woman, Rose. I recall sitting at the kitchen table with the whole family, and witnessing Diane and Vinny’s adoration for their father. They would always share such amazing and often funny stories about ’Sonny.” I remember him always asking me, “I bet you want to grow up and be just like me,” and we would both laugh like crazy. The thing is, I wish I could grow up and be just like him. There will never be a man like Angelo. I will miss him greatly. Sending my warmest wishes and love to Rose, Diane, Billy, and Vin.

Diane and Billy, Vinny and Aunt Rose.
Tony and I were so devastated with the news of Uncle Angelo passing. He was a great Uncle, great musician, husband and father. We enjoyed many wonderful times with him at family gatherings and he will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family. We all loved you Uncle Ang.

Diane, Billy, Vinny and Aunt Rose,
A giant has fallen.
When we think of Uncle Angelo we always think of laughter. In many ways, he was an original. He was a consummate artist in the field of music and had a style of dress all his own.
He played an important role in our lives and we will always be telling Uncle Angelo stories.
He will remain very much alive in the memories of those who loved, respected and treasured him.
He was the best Uncle possible.
We will miss him.
Our thoughts are with you,
Love, Alan & Felicia
