I was so sad and so sorry to hear about Bob. He was also one of the first friends I had when I moved to Danbury in the mid 60's. We went to grade school, Jr High and High School together so we got to hang out quite a bit, during and after school. We lost contact in the 80's but Bob has long been a part of my childhood memories and always will be. We used to talk about music all the time which he loved so much. We played guitar together when we were kids. I can remember him telling me not to stop playing, and I never did.
Bob will always be remembered as a true friend. His loss will leave a hole in many lives.

Bobby was a dear neighborhood friend of mine dating back to the late 60's. We only lived several houses away from each other. He was really the first friend I had when we moved to the Danbury area. I'll never forget how excited I was when he came to my front door and introduced himself the very first day we moved in. As we got older we spent a lot of time working on his boat and then our cars. We both joined the Air Force ROTC program in High School and weathered the harassment we got from fellow classmates every time we wore our uniforms. In fact it was fun because Bobby could dish it back just as easily. I've got many, many fond memories of our experiences together. What will always stand in my mind was that Bobby was a great person, thoughtful, trusting, and always respectful.

My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you and your family,

Ed Bob was a good friend, fellow student at DHS, we both served in the Navy on different coasts, co-worker at UNICOR, fellow Faternal Police member. What I remember best about Ed, was his pride when speaking about his family, I always respected that.

Dear Christy, dear Family and Friends

Christy my heart goes out to you and I am ALWAYS there for you!

First I would like to say how deeply sorry and sad I am for not being able to be here and pay my respect to my dear, dear and very good Friend BOB at this time. I live in Florida and because of my work it was impossible to come

BOBBY G. ( as I use to call him ) is going to be greatly, greatly missed! There are no words to express the way I feel at this moment, it was such a shock and still is when Christy called and told me.....its way to early for God to have takend him from all of us at such a young age!

BOB and I go way, way back, we shared an apartment together, worked together at Unimation, spent hours and hours working on my Triumph and we always had such a good time together. I remember BOB and Christy's wedding-it seems just like yesterday......

Every day I look at my beautiful Triumph in my garage that BOB rebuilt and I think of him.....I was hoping that he would come down here soon to visit us so that I can take him for a ride in the car and down memory lane.....well BOB, you did not go alone, for part of me went with you the day God called you home. You left me beautiful memories your friendship is still my guide, and though I cannot see you, you are always by my side.....my heart is crying , and me and my wife Irma will never forget you , you will be deeply, deeply missed!

All my love to you BOB your loving friend forever - Ron
