Bruce, Marcia and Craig - words can't express our sorrow and grief for your loss. I had spoken to both Keith and Bruce less than 2 hours before his race and he was so happy and full of plans - of course with new racing in mind. Keith has been racing with us for almost 8 years and we are truly sorry at his loss. God thank him and you for donating his organs. What a gift of life for someone else.

Thanksgiving has come and passed but not the fondest of memories of our TRUE friend Keith.
We were thankful to have known Keith for the short time we did and will NEVER forget him.
Even as I sit on my front porch and can see his racing trailer, the memory of Keith is so real, and forever be a pleasent memory.

Mr. and Mr. Lorentzen,

I had the pleasure of meeting Keith while he was in Tennessee through Josh Mullins. He was always so sweet and fun to be around. He added so much to our lives in the short time we knew him. He was such a dedicated friend. I miss him greatly. He will always be in my heart and my God bless you during the days to come.

The last conversation that I had with Keith was on Saturday at Road Atlanta after he drove hard to an impressive 4th place finish. I told him that he had driven a great race and he said, "It feels like a win to me!". I'm glad that he went out feeling like the winner that he was. I will miss Keith on the track and Marty and I will miss our laughs with him in the pits.

Our condolences and prayers for the family.

We'll miss you, Keith.

Lorentzen Family,

I worked with Keith in CT as Quality Control Supervisor for Osmose. I just want you to know that Keith is probably the most genuine, honest and likable person I have ever met. He was always extremely conscientious about his work and was a pleasure to work with. I not only worked with Keith but I considered him a friend. I even raced a professional go-cart with him for my first and only time. We also horribly sung karaoke at a bar once. I read on one of the racing forums that Keith was an organ donor. This is a prime example of the selflessness that Keith practiced on a daily basis. I am very sorry for your loss. Keith will be missed.

No words can adequately convey our condolences to each and every one of you and this time. Racing holds in it's ranks the most amazing people and from what we have gathered on the WKA circuit, Keith opitimized that. May God brace and support you at this time. To the family of Keith W. Lorentzen: I am compelled to visit this web site and write to all of you on behalf of your son and brother, Keith. I met Keith this summer in Nashville at the Nascar Super Truck races while my family and I were there on vacation. I had the pleasure to talk at length with him at the speed shop where Josh Mullins fine tuned his racing machines with his father, crew and no doubt your son Keith, who was always willing to help. I was immediatly impressed with his knowledge and personal demenor. It was obvious he loved the racing world. As someone who has been in the trades all my life it was easy to see that he knew and loved what he was doing around those race cars. We talked about the legend cars, welding, motors, school and just things that come from a young man who has dreams and goals. He was a pleasure to talk with. I tell you this just to let you know that he made a big impression on me and I'm sure it is a direct reflection of his parents as well. When I heard about it I called my brother and asked him if it was that nice young man whom I had talked with. To my dismay he replied that it was. I believe in the young people of this country. I have and presently work the streets as a fireman going on 21 years and I have seen the best and the worst society has to offer where youth is involved. I train and instruct young people daily to keep them safe and on top of their game. It takes a lot to impress me. I was impressed with Keith that summer day, and its easy to see why. I am sure he will continue to influence people with his memory for days and years to come. I grieve your loss. I hope the days ahead will be kind to all of you, stay strong, sincerly Mike Mullins brother of Jim Mullins.
