Mary Cushman Colwell, 94, of Cheshire passed away at Elim Park on Sunday, February 23, 2020. The Memorial Service scheduled for Saturday, March 21 at the Spring Glen Church has been postponed until further notice. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.

Jane your mother will be greatly missed by all. We will miss her when we do the Spring board I really enjoyed picking her up so she was able come. We are very sorry for your loss.

It was a joy to know Mary (and her husband who was my doctor for many years). We shared many conversations about her alma mater - Mount Holyoke which my mother, sister and a cousin also attended. My condolences to the entire Colwell family

Such a warm, loving spirit; a Spring Glen Church saint. She always made a point of letting you know that she cared, and that always meant so much. Grateful to have known her. Sending sympathy.

To all of Mary's Family. I met Mary through Spring Glen Church. We went on many church Women's Retreats together. We were together most recently at the one day retreat at Elim Park. I was so glad she was there. When I think of her, I think of joy. Mary always had a smile on her face which brought joy to me and many other people. She also enjoyed the fact that my husband and I went to Colgate ('78) as I understand your family has a long tradition there.
Please accept our condolences as you work through this loss. One consolation for me is that Mary lived her life as she wanted to up to the end. With much love and sadness, Rhonda & James Voos
