Ran the Boston Marathon one year with Tom. Use to watch him play basketball at the Atwater Recreation Center in New Haven. He was a few years older then me.Tom Lived on Lombard St.in New Haven and my mother lived on State St. She would see Tom run by our house and always thought it was me running.Tom was a gifted runner. In later years he refused to stop running even when his feet and ankles were hurting him so much. RIP Tom. One of the best.

I knew Tom from working at UI for many years. He was a very pleasant man and very friendly. So sorry for your loss.
