Flagg, Patricia
Patricia E. deWever Flagg, 96, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 24th, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Aelfred D. Flagg. Patricia was born in Gardiner, Maine on May 16, 1924 and was the daughter of the late James and Gladys deWever. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine, taught as an English teacher for several years until becoming Owner/Publisher of the Advisor Newspaper, North Haven in 1965. Patricia enjoyed traveling especially to Portugal and spending time at their summer home in Vinalhaven, Maine. She also loved all her Yorkies. Mother of Danielle D. Flagg and the late Colonel Paluel J. Flagg. Grandmother of Brett deWever Flagg and Lance Joseph Flagg and wife Tanya. Great-Grandmother of Devin, Grace, Leila, Chase and Vita Flagg. Special appreciation to Danielle's significant other John Potosky and all the aides and nurses that cared for her.
The visiting hours will be Wednesday, Dec. 30th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue (masks and social distancing required). Interment will be held at a later date in Hallowell, Maine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Home Health Care, 100 Corporate Place, Ste. 202, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. www.northhavenfuneral.com
