THOMPSON, MARCIA ALPERT Marcia Alpert Thompson, 71 yrs old, devoted and beloved wife of Art Thompson, of Enfield, CT, formerly of Hamden, CT died on December 10, 2011. She died at home with her loving husband by her side. She was the beloved mother of Shaun Glazier and the late Sloan Gentile. She will be remembered for her love of life and devotion to her family. Born in New Haven, CT Sept 15th, 1940, she was the fifth child (one of six) of Sarah Weiner Alpert and Louis Alpert. She was the loving sister of Irma Goldbloom of Seattle WA, the late Chuck Alpert, the late Harriet Cahn, the late Anita Alpert, and the late Ida Alpert. She was the cherished grandmother of Mickey Glazier and Shane Gentile. She had 4 loving nieces and nephews: Lisa, Susan, Steve and Aryeh. Funeral services at Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven MONDAY, Dec,. 12, 2011 at 12;00 o'clock NOON.
