Brian Saas

1948 - 2017

Brian Patrick Saas of Goodyear, Arizona, formerly of Wallingford, CT died peacefully in his home on August 10, 2017 with his family by his side. He was the husband of Theresa Erba Saas for 47 years. Brian was born in New Haven on December 12, 1948 to the late William and Marion Kane Saas. He served his country with honor in the US Army during the Viet Nam War era. He then worked in various positions at Ametek in Wallingford for 34 years prior to moving to Arizona in 2006. He most recently worked as a financial advisor for First Financial in Arizona. Brian had a great love for his dog Baxter and the Arizona Cardinals. Brian was a devoted husband to Theresa, a loving father to Dianne (Gilbert) Saas Page and Robert (Jennifer) Saas. He adored his grandchildren Mia and Emma Page and Thomas Saas. He is also survived by his brother William Saas. Visiting hours will be Monday morning from 9-10:15am in the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl. New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Most Holy Trinity Church, 68 North Colony St. Wallingford at 11am. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum.
