Anne Soule Obituary
Anne M. Soule passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2017, nine days before her 93rd birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Soule to whom she was married for 66 years.
Daughter of the late Frederick and Elsie (von Allmen) Mitchell, she was born in Niantic on December 20, 1924 and was a lifelong West Haven resident.
Anne's love of reading over her lifetime permitted her to enjoy and accumulate a vast knowledge of subjects, especially English history.
Anne worked at SNET before her children were born and later at Aetna Insurance. She was a member of the First and Wesley United Methodist Church where she made many longtime friends who were very dear to her.
Anne is survived by her son, Robert C. Soule, and her daughter Janet (Ted) Francois, her grandchildren, Daryl Soule, Brian Soule, Kim Moscato and Tara Rapuano. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Dominic, Jocelyn, Tyler and Brooke Moscato and Julianna Rapuano. She was also aunt to Laurie Carey, David O'Conner, Bill Mitchell and Barbara Brooks.
Besides her husband, Anne was predeceased by her brother William Mitchell, and her sister Wini O'Conner.
Family and friends may visit the Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St., West Haven on Friday, Dec. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place Saturday, Dec. 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the First and Wesley United Methodist Church at 89 Center St., West Haven.

Anne will be missed. She and Bob were an important part of the family at First and Wesley. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
