When vacationing with Alan and Ralph, Alan often was busy with work so Ralph and I ventured out for the day experiencing so many places of beauty and interest. Museums, gardens, zoo, food shopping, harvesting Ralph's wonderful vegetable and fruit garden and of course, cooking. One of our really long days was finding our way up Mt. Baldy, having a few cocktails, a great dinner and we're joined by the owner. I have fond memories of the three of us going to shows, enjoying dinner out and just kicking back and being friends. Such an untimely loss for so many, especially Alan! Ralph, you are missed already but I smile thinking of you and the good times we shared. Alan, you do not yet know the depth of how much you will miss your partner. I am always just a call away, night or day. With much love, Shirley
