I'm shocked and deeply saddened by Kurt's passing. It's been many years since we had any contact so I had no knowledge of any health problems. In high school & beyond we were very close friends and spent quite a bit of time together. I'll especially remember times at the farm. We would hill climb motorcycles that weren't meant to go off road and he tried to teach me how to ski (without success).
We once took a trip to Vermont in his 56' Ford to visit his dad. We all went from there into Canada and got in a bit of trouble when we tried to bring fireworks back across the border. We also played softball together on those great Johnsonburg teams of years ago. He and his brother Jay were terrific ball players. As I write this more and more memories are running through my mind, but I better stop at this point. Let's just leave it at we had lots of fun during those teen age years.

We all grew up, had families, and moved on with our lives & after a while you just lose contact which is a shame. To Pat, the rest of the family, and the entire community, I'm so sorry for your loss. Kurt will be missed.
