Glenda Bryant Obituary

Glenda "Midge" (Dugan) Bryant May 17, 1936 - December 27, 2022 On December 27, 2022, Glenda (Midge) Dugan Bryant passed away peacefully in Twin Falls, Idaho. After an incredibly fulfilling 86 years, she has been reunited with her family in the afterlife.

Midge was born in Cle Elum, Washington in 1936, along with her twin sister Cissy. Everywhere she went, she let people know too! When on outings together as they got older, people even asked to take photos of the two of them together, stating, "You're the oldest set of twins we've ever seen," and the like. The two were inseparable.

Known as Nana and Gram by her grandchildren (even the honorary ones), Grandma Midge by the kids who worked in the lunchroom with her at Housel Middle School (where she worked for almost 2 decades!) and various other nicknames over her 86 years. Everyone she met has a story that shows her personality as well as her kindness. To know her was truly to love her.

She spent her time watching Jeopardy (she loved Alex Trebek), playing, and winning, scrabble, her crosswords, and cooking. She was a true home maker, all while working and raising kids for most of her life. She could make a mean pork roast, as well as spaghetti and chicken and dumpling soup, just to name a few.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzee Varouhas, Pamela (John) Cisnernos, Susan Bryant, and her 3 step children, Linda (Rich) Cummins, Ben (Serena) Bryant, Brady Bryant, and a whole army of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Bryant, her twin sister, Gloria (Cissy) Peterson, her baby sister, Patti Nicholson, her father, mother, and step father, her two sons, Michael and Scott Browitt, and her countless other family which she loved and missed very dearly.

Memorial date to be announced in the Facebook group her family has created, which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/709825037422597. All updates about the memorial will be shared there and an RSVP would be appreciated. Any condolences are also welcome on the event page.
