Jerome Johnson Obituary

Jerome "Jerry" Johnson April 1, 1941 - October 20, 2021 On October 20th, at the age of 80, Jerry lost the battle with pancreatic Cancer. Born on April 1, 1941 in St. Paul, MN to John and Doris (Riley) Johnson. He attended Farmsworth Grade School, Cleveland Jr. High and Johnson high School.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He had a great sense of humor that everyone loved and was always cheerful.

He met Sue Harvieux and they married in 1960 in St. Paul. Had 3 children: Cheryl, Julie and Jeff.

He joined the Navy in 1958 and spent the next 20 years serving his country. Then worked 18 years at Boeing. Living on Whidbey Island, Kirkland, Cle Elum and finally in Ellensburg, WA.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sue of 61 years; daughters Cheryl (Scott) Frary and Julie (George) Gorveatt; grandchildren Joey (Cammy) Cirhan, Tim (Jennifer) Cirhan, Caleb (Sarah) Frary, Jennifer (Jacob) Gorveatt, Lisa (Gabe) Gorveatt-Evans, and Cynthia (Matt) Gorveatt-Haave; six great grandchildren Lianna, Lizzy, Sophia, Ember, Charlee, Harper, and Jack due in December. Also, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff, and sister Joyce Pettee.

Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Rosary will be said at St. Andrews on Thursday, Nov. 4th at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be on Friday, Nov. 5th at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at the church from 2:00-3:30 p.m.

Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following the reception.
