My mother, Pat Reardon, was always expressing how Pat had been her lifeline, after moving to Cincinnati. They met in a sale line outside a department store. They struck up an instant friendship. Pat got my mother a nursing job at GE. They shared many things in common, including big families to care for. Last week was the 9th anniversary of my mother's passing. I happened to be calling people who knew her to get their memories. I tried to call Pat, but didn't get through.
I picture them giggling at being together again.
My sincere condolences to her family. I'm so glad she was a part of my Mom's life.

Mrs. O’Brien belonged to my mother’s bridge club. She was a delightful lady and one friend my mother, Bernice Herzog, loved. Those were special years! Lois Herzog Doyle
