Edward WILBERS Obituary
Wilbers
Edward W., age 92, of Fort Thomas, passed away on November 20, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Fort Thomas, KY. Ed was owner/operator of Wilbers Construction Co., Fort Thomas; one of the founders of the Northern Kentucky Home Builders Assoc.; Past President of the Ft. Thomas Optimist Club; KY. Colonel; 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus; past Vice-President and Director of First Federal Savings and Loan; American Business Women's Association 1989 " Boss of the Year"; Newport Elks Lodge #273; co-owner of Bellewood Lanes in Newport, and past Director of the Diocesan Children's Home. He was also a Navy Seabee during WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma "Toni" (nee: Bruegger) Wilbers. Mr. Wilbers is survived by his daughters Kathy Seal of Fort Thomas, Ky, Peggi Pleiman and Pam Wilbers both of Cold Spring, KY, son Edward Wilbers of Edgewood, KY, 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and sister Marge Staley of Fort Thomas, KY. Visitation will be 4 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, November 25, at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Fort Thomas Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 26th, at 10 AM at St. Thomas Church, Fort Thomas. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017 St. Thomas Church, 26 E. Villa Place, Fort Thomas, Ky. 41075 or to the Diocesan Children's Home, 75 Orphanage Rd., Ft. Mitchell, KY. 41017. Online condolences can be given at www.dmefuneral.com.
