Irene Taffaro Obituary

TAFFARO
Irene T., 83, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. Born in Weehawkin, she lived in Ridgefield Park before moving to Sayreville.
Irene was employed as a secretary with Road Con System Inc. in Fair Lawn before retiring. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and trips to Atlantic City. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her former husband, Thomas Taffaro (formerly of Ridgefield Park, and currently residing in North Carolina); her three sons, Thomas (and his fiancé, Elaine Filoso), Kenneth (Michele Taylor) and Robert (and his wife, Carol); her daughter, Karen Taffaro (Greg Camerato); and her grandchildren, Robert and Sophia.
Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, on Saturday December 26th from 1-4 PM. Those who wish may make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or a charity of your choice.
