Dear Jean and the Hoff Family, Hearing of Tom's passing was a sad moment as I worked next to him as executive colleagues at Hoffmann La Roche for the better part of 24 years. Tom was a wonderful gentleman and an outstanding executive. He was also a mentor and a dear friend during those days. We traveled many places with our wives for Roche. Mary and I extend our deepest sympathies to Jean and the entire family for which Tom was extremely proud. He came from a special generation and he was an innovator in his field and always had a kind word for everyone. Tom will be missed and it was an honor and priviledge to have worked with him. My wish for all of you is that your happiest memories will come to the forefront of your minds, especially during these difficult days to help pull you through and bring smiles to your faces. Sincerely with sympathy and respect, Alan and Mary Rubino
