Gino Nepola Obituary
Gino Thomas, of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey passed away in the presence of his family on August 15, 2016.
He was 98. He was well until he had been hospitalized for a brief illness.
Born in Manhattan on March 11, 1918 he grew up in Staten Island with his family. He attended Dewitt Clinton high school, was a graduate of New York University where he was president of his class and New York University Law School.
He founded Eastair Corporation of Hackensack New Jersey and was world renowned as an aerospace entrepreneur.
His passing was preceded by the death of his beloved wife Elizabeth Patricia O'Reilly Nepola in 2007.
Three sons James and his wife Cathy of Iowa City, Iowa, Thomas of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey and John and his wife Kristin of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, survive him as do his nine grandchildren: Alessandra of Washington, DC Jacqueline of Chicago, Illinois James Christopher and Thomas of Iowa City, Iowa, Michael, Mackenzie, Oceane,Elizabeth and Fiorella "Bella" of Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 AM on Saturday August 20, 2106 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, 1 Passaic St., Ridgewood, NJ Burial will be in Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 East Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, NJ.

A Mentor for everyone who had the chance to meet him, my wife, myself and our Two kids Chiara and Edoardo will never forget his love for us for decades.
Gino will be with us for the lifelong.

I am very sorry to hear about Mr. Nepola's passing. He and the late Mrs. Nepola were always good to me both when I was a child and when I worked for Mr. Nepola during high school and college. Some of my best childhood memories are the times we spent at the Nepola house on the NJ shore with my family and friends. My sympathies to John, Tom and Dr. Nepola. Please go through this difficult time as you know your dad would want you to, by taking strength from your memories of him, and with grace and humor. May he rest in peace.
