BROWN
Joseph K., on November 13, 2013 of Dumont. Before retiring he was a machine operator for the Dumont DPW. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont and a life member of the Dumont Knights of Columbus where he was a pitcher on the softball team. He was former baseball coach for Dumont Recreation and a member of the Dumont Seniors and the Dumont - Bergenfield Chapter of AARP. Beloved husband of Virginia nee Monachelli. Devoted father of Steven; Ronald and his wife Laurie; Judy Burd and her husband Richard; and the late Joseph and Richard.
Loving grandfather of Steven, Christopher, David, Kaitlyn, Ricky, Amy, Amanda, Samantha, Daniel, Terrence, Bryan, Meghan, Carlie, Michelle and great grandfather of Addison, Devan and Hunter. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave. Bergen-field. All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 9 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church at 10. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.

Joseph K Brown, our Uncle was a man that always had a smile on his face. He was very gentle and spoke in a soft happy voice. I am glad I got to see him the day before. Uncle Joe I will miss you very much. You were my favorite and I just loved your smile. It always made my day when I got to see you. You were so loved and every one who knew you was blessed with that fact and much better for it.
