Joseph Carabello Obituary
Joseph L. Sr. passed on March 3rd, 2016 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife, Antonette; his son Joseph L. Carabello, and his daughter Mary Ann Carabello Glinbizzi. Between his two children, he enjoyed his five grandchildren: Courtney, Stacy, and Patrick Carabello, and Allie Rose and Lexie Anne Glinbizzi. He recently became a great-grandfather to Michael Anthony and Joseph Andrew Glinbizzi.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 4-8 PM at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at Holy Spirit RC Church, Pequannock. Entombment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. www.scanlanfuneralhome.com
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Holy Spirit Church in Pequannock or to Pequannock UNICO.

I worked with Joe at Grand Union in Wyckoff for many years as his assistant. What a kind, caring man he was. He retired, I went on to work for the union, so we went our separate ways. However, never have I forgotten him. RIP old friend. You touched my life in many ways. Sincere condolences to Ann, his children and family.
