Rosa Leto Obituary
Rosa (nee Tallo) Leto age 95 of Garfield, died August 25, 2017. She was born in Alessandria della Rocca, Sicily, residing there for 46 years before moving to Garfield 49 years ago. She was a seamstress for the ILGWU, parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, member of the Sacred Heart and St. Pio Societies. She is pre-deceased by her husband Benedetto in 1996, also three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one daughter Maria Salerno, two sons Vincenzo and Ciro Leto. Also 6 grandchildren and 14 great Grandchildren.
Visiting Monday, August 28, from 4 to 8pm. The funeral is Tuesday, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home, at 8 am followed by an 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. The Leto family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). In lieu of flowers the family will accept memorial gifts fo the St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Condolences/Directions visit www.aloiafuneral.com
