Trent Williams Obituary
A funeral service for Trent will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Strasburg High School, 250 Ram Drive, Strasburg VA 22657, with Dr. Rodney Vickers and Pastor Darrell Waller officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery with Firemen honors conducted by Strasburg Fire Department, Company 51. A reception and time of fellowship will follow at Strasburg High School.
Trent was born on April 29, 2004 in Winchester, VA and lived in Strasburg, Virginia. Trent had numerous nicknames, but was lovingly known as T-man. He was a 2nd grade student at Sandy Hook Elementary School and played football for Pop Warner's Strasburg Rams #29 and enjoyed playing sports. Trent loved panda bears and Star Wars and was the #1 fan of all UVA sports, especially the individual team members. His favorite color was blue and he enjoyed dining out and especially loved crabs. Trent liked to go to Wal-Mart and tried to visit one in every town. He loved people and having people around him and always saw the good in every person he met. Trent loved without conditions; he brought peace to those in his presence and was always thinking of and taking care of others. Trent liked to dress well and loved a new pair shoes. Although Trent may be absent from our lives he will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Trent is the beloved son of Eric Alan and Jennifer Renee Petza Williams; brother to Caden and twin Logan Williams, all of the home; his loving grandparents, Ethel and Danny Dill of Felton, Delaware; John and Julie Petza of Winchester, VA, Margaret and Duane Williams of Front Royal, his great-grandparents, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, a team of prayer warriors, and very special friends around the world who loved him yet never met him.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Hailey, Chad Wright, Bryan Wallace, Charles Richardson, Richard Sargent, Jr, Jonathan Fausey and Matthew Snyder.
The family will receive friends at Strasburg High School on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. The casket will remain open until the time of the service.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial contributions to the "Trent A. Williams Foundation." Make checks payable to "Friends of Trent", C/O First Bank, 112 W. King Street, Strasburg, VA 22657 or any branch of First Bank.

I never met him but I remember being a student at Sandy Hook and seeing all the shirts and events in support of him and hoping he would be ok; I´m only two years older than him, but it was like every grade knew him and was hoping for him.
The other week I suddenly remembered him and my mom informed me that sadly he didn´t make it. Today I saw a skate park will be built as tribute to him, which is so awesome. I don´t live in Strasburg anymore but I think it´s a wonderful plan. May Trents memory be a blessing and I hope his family is doing well

I never met T-man but seeing him on Facebook seemed like we had been friends forever.
I knew him hin my heart he will always be remembered. I loved seeing his pictures,we both had loved panda bears. I wish I could have met him,but I know I will one day.

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

I am so sorry for your lose. Trent is a while known individual and will be missed by all the world. My granddaughter is in remission right now from Brikets Lymphoma which is cancer. I worry about her all the time, she has to go to U.V.A for her scans to make sure it doesn't or hasn't returned yet. They say if it does that it will be in a different type of cancer like lukemia. I cherish everyday that I have with her.Ashley is 10 years old now she was 4years old at the time of her cancer. My heart goes out to you and your family may God bless you and may God cherish eternity with Trent and all the other angles.

This young man has made a huge impact on our family. We live right down the street and have been here for 3 years this year. I remember the 1st time my son who was 2 at the time now 4, drove past Trent and Logan on his blue 4 wheeler the boys were mesmerized. Hunter spoke with them, it was just adorable........Sadly, Trent passed the same day and the same time of the morning that my 81 yr old grandfather passed, and both of cancer. I wish we took more walks....I wish that we let them ride with Hunter on the blue 4 wheeler.... But I am certain Trent is riding power wheels and eating crabs unlimited right now :) I Actually personally met Logan 3 days ago, he is SUCH a wonderful kid....I wish so badly we got to know you all better. My prayers are with you and we will be seeing you. I know T-man is safe with my Papa, my Grandpa and Grandma, my best friend Mike and any of his family members. They know how much he has touched our families hearts and they absolutely greeted him with arms wide open.
