Died: November 3, 2016; in Crystal Lake, IL

Jo A. Bidner, age 81, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Crystal Lake, IL. She was born January 1, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Frederick J. and Florence (Alexander) Heinritz.

Jo was an award-winning watercolor artist, lace scholar and museum consultant. She was a 60-year resident of Brooklyn, New York. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, David Karl Bidner of Livonia, MI, Anne Bidner of Mansfield, MA and Jenni Bidner of McHenry IL; grandchildren, Robert J. Bidner, Katherine Bidner; and one brother, Fred J. Heinritz of McHenry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D.H. Bidner.
