Mr. Noble Ladella words cannot explain the pain I felt at the time of your passing. He reminded me that he remembered me from a kid who used to frequent busy corner when I moved into his building on Grand. He was a long time family member. He was always helping others with a smile on his face. I know that there is a place in Heaven where he resides now full of long discussions that he and I used to share. I already miss him dearly. Rest in Heaven friend.

Dear Ladella Family, such memories of Noble as he would come in to Nick Roumpakis' office, where Ernesto, Cathy and I worked doing Massages!!
he would come in and sit down and discuss world affairs! so funny and so humble. I recently saw him at Menards and we spoke for a long time . . . always working on the "Potter-Palmer Mansion" on Grand Blvd!!! he was truly one of a kind . . .

The Kurmis Family sends its deepest and humblest condolences on the loss of this wonderful man. The stories that he would tell me about when he grew up with my father Donald Kurmis, always kept me laughing. And my dad always backed his stories, so I know they were the truth. With my dad and Noble back together again, Heaven is definitely laughing today. God bless you all and our sincerest sympathies on your loss. May God hold you all a little bit closer during this sad time.

Grief is the price we pay for loving someone. Noble was loved by many. I met him only a few years ago and came to work for him and Danice about a year ago. So many stories he shared with us. Always encouraging, supportive and caring of myself and my kids. Our hearts are heavy. I will miss his smile, his laugh and the jingling of his keys when he walked through the shop. Love You and Miss You, Boss!

Another East Chicago Washington Senator joins coaching great Johnny Baratto in heaven. We are all saddened by the passing of our member and dear friend, Noble Ladella. Noble and I were raised on Michigan Avenue, around the Busy Corner Drug Store area...and he was well known for his hot dog stand at that corner by the 28,000 men and women that used Michigan Avenue to get to work at Inland Steel back in the 60's and 70's.

To me, Noble was "Mr. Michigan Avenue." He truly loved Indiana Harbor people, and considered many to be part of his extended family. He helped so many financially and would always say...."Don't worry about it, pay be back when you can."

Noble's suffering has now turned into a time of celebration and joy for him now that he is in the land of NO MORE PAIN, NO MORE SUFFERING, AND NO MORE TEARS. A great man, a wonderful human being, a good friend to all, who will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known Noble Ladella, "Mr. Michigan Avenue." Please accept our sympathy from our entire membership. May his memory be eternal.
