MARY A. JARNECKE KOUTS, IN Mary A. Jarnecke, 67, of Kouts passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born March 10, 1948 in Huntington, NY to Charles L. and Mary A. (Krause) Schaub, graduated from John Carroll High School in Ft. Pierce, FL and Indian River Junior College school of cosmetology. Mary then practiced as a beautician for several years at her own shop, Chez Marie in Apache Junction, AZ. Currently she was a member of Kouts Christian Church, attended Hope of Israel in Valparaiso and enjoyed volunteering as a field trip leader at Valparaiso nursing homes, particularly Avalon Springs and Whispering Pines. On December 1, 1979 she married James L. Jarnecke who survives along with their son, Jim C.L. (Melissa) Jarnecke, Jr.; daughters: Mary and Brenna; step children: Michael and Deborah; sister, Laura Jansen; brother, Charles Schaub, Jr.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Phillip and sisters: Rita and Cecelia. A visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 Indiana Ave., Kouts. Funeral service will be Monday 11:00 a.m. at Kouts Christian Church, Rev. George Taylor, Jr. officiating with cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. KosankeFuneralHome.com

I still remember Mary as a shining light of the love of Yeshua. What an amazing soul winner. She is precious in God's eyes and in ours as well. She's worshiping God and probably serving there in Heaven.

Mom, it is now been 13 days since you left this earth. Dad, Missy, & I miss you dearly. Knowing that you are not in pain and you made it to your home In heaven gives us relief. Mary, I will miss all your cute little notes you'd leave me. I am so grateful for having you in my life. It was so amazing to have you at our wedding. I am glad you finally got to see your son so happy and in love and married to his soul mate. I promise to always love and take care of Jim and his dad. You were like a mom to me in many ways, you were full of so much love and taught me so many things. Thank you for always having time to listen when I needed to talk. I am comforted in knowing you are no longer in pain, you put up a good fight but in the end it was time for you to leave us and go home to Heaven. It's going to be hard not hearing your voice or laughter in the house, but I always remember you telling me not to be sad when you leave because you will be in a glorious place with the lord. Thank you for everything, I will never forget you.

Mary you are in Yeshua's glory but you will be so missed here.!you were such a beautiful light with us at Hope of Israel Congregation. You single handedly seemed to coordinate and transform every feast event and Shabbat meal into a wonderful celebration. You never failed to bless me and our family with beautiful cards and generous gifts . There are so many new believers that will have you to thank for inviting them to know Yeshua.
