Mortimer Traktman Obituary

TRAKTMAN--Mortimer, at 91, on September 16, after several years of declining health. A Columbia Law School graduate, he served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a real estate attorney for over five decades. He was married for 66 years to his beloved Esther, who died earlier this month. A devoted father to David and Paula (Stephen Duncan), he adored his grandchildren, Samantha and Cameron Duncan. He was a man of discerning taste and great refinement. Cherished for his sweet temper, sharp mind and sterling character, he will not soon be forgotten. Graveside service Wednesday, 1pm, September 17, Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Glendale, NY. Inquiries: Riverside Memorial Chapel, 212-362-6600.
