ANITA ROSS-FEIN

ROSS-FEIN--Anita, died suddenly on February 15. A longtime Manhattan resident of proud Sephardic ancestry. Born in the Bronx to Broadway producer and stage manager William Ross and Lucy Gormezano-Ross. Anita graduated from Taft High School and Lehman College. She joined Harlequin Players Theater and later worked for years in theater - stage manager for On and Off Broadway shows, Production Manager for Tony Randall's National Actor's Theatre, producer, and proud longtime Actors' Equity member. Anita was a skilled public school teacher, philanthropist, fierce advocate in the fight against AIDS and other causes - and the best friend there was. Married for 28 loving years to Milton Ross-Fein, noted Principal of P.S. 7 (now "Milton Fein School"). She devoted herself to him during his long health struggle. Survived by her sister Melanie and son Skylar, loving relatives, and countless friends who were "family."
