What a very special lady! I knew Claire when Bernie taught at Parker. I was and am the drama teacher at the elementary school and Claire actually wrote a wonderful play about the history of California for us. Fourth-graders still put on her play yearly at our school and learn so much in that process thanks to her. I remember how bright, caring, and kind she was. Claire's love lives on at our school. She left such a legacy! My condolences to her family and friends.
