Although I met Dr. Bowe only a few times personally, his numerous writings made him a bonavide advocate of the rights of people with disabilities. He went over and above the call of his civic duties as a true volunteer. Measure his giantic achievements, then you have a true proactive hero. Indeed, he set the standard for us and now we must carry the torch in his altruistic memory.

Frank was a great friend to my late husband and me. Both of them were movers and shakers of the time. With both of them gone, I am sure there will be changes beyond the pearly gates. We will miss you.

Frank was an inspiration to us all,
growing up with Frank and Robin helped me to deal with the
insecurities of having hearing impaired parents. Frank gave so much to us all. May GOD BLESS and help his Mother and family in this sad time. He will be missed by all who knew him..

Though we,as a family have extended our love, thoughts and prayers to Kitty and Frank's family, we also want to share with everyone about what an impact Frank made on our lives and helped us when our deaf son, Jim, was growing up! His meetings with us, advising us, guidance on so many things. If anyone would like to read a book Frank wrote that was basically about our son transition from deaf school to intergrate back into the hearing world school system!,It is called "The Little Red Schoolhouse" We know Lwbg. did a great job! Also, Kitty Bowe did such a great article about our son,Jim,in the Daily Item when Kitty worked there and we all treasure it!.
With much love,admiration for Frank!

My deepest sympathy to Frank's family. What an amazing man Frank became. I graduated high school with Frank. He was an amazing individual back then. He will truly be missed, but the world is a better place because of Frank.
