FREDERICK SCHROEDER

SCHROEDER--Frederick D., longtime resident of Redding, CT, died on January 16, 2021 at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 62 years, Jean, his children Frederick C. (Allison) and Lisa (Joe), his grandson Charlie, and his sister Penny. Fred graduated from The Pingry School, Harvard College, and Harvard Law School. He was a partner in the law firms of Cole & Deitz and Winston & Strawn and was a member of The University Club. Fred served on the boards of The Connecticut Audubon Society, The Connecticut Ornithological Association, and The Redding Conservation Commission. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends with whom he enthusiastically shared his many interests -- books, history, the arts, gardening, birds, worldwide travel, wines in France, winters in Costa Rica.
