Rubin Partel Obituary

PARTEL--Rubin. Born May 11, 1919 in Czestochowa, Poland, died February 1, 2008 in New York, New York. Survived slave labor and the loss of his family in the Holocaust before immigrating to the United States in 1947 to begin a new life and family with his wife (of blessed memory), Frances Partel. A man of immense energy and kindness, he was admired and adored by his daughters, Harriet (Leonard) Schleifer and Helene (Harvey) Kaminski, and by his grandchildren, Adam and David Schleifer, and Frances and Philip Kaminski. They will forever mourn his loss and celebrate his legacy. Donations may be made to the American Jewish Committee and UJA-Federation.
