SREEDHAR NAIR MD, FACP, FCCP

NAIR--Sreedhar, MD, FACP, FCCP, of Norwalk, CT and Longboat Key, FL died on March 3, 2014. During most of his distinguished career, Dr. Nair served as Head of Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at Norwalk Hospital and was a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale University. He was a consultant to the World Health Organization, and Founder and President of the National Emphysema Foundation. Dr. Nair received several awards from his peers, was the editor of five books and published over 70 articles in medical journals. He leaves a loving family including his wife, three children and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The National Emphysema Foundation or to Norwalk Hospital.
