SYLVIA GARRETT Obituary
aged 97, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, was born September 21, 1918 to the late Cecile and Harry Jampol of New York City. She grew up in New York City and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Education from Long Island University. Sylvia was married to Edward J. Garrett from 1939 until his death in 1982. Sylvia resided in Delray Beach, FL until her death on November 15, 2015. She remained a devoted mother to Arlene J. Blau and David B. Garrett as well as her grandchildren Stephanie, Melissa, Victoria, Kimberly and Jay and six great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held graveside on Tuesday, November 17th. The family will be sitting that evening from 5pm to 8:30 m at the home of Arlene and Harvey Blau; as well as Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th at 12pm at the home of David and Linda Garrett. Contributions in her memory may be made to the MorseLife Foundation, Inc. morselife.org or 561-209-6103.
