Very belated condolences to the whole Lambert family. We met Dr. Lambert only a few times but remember well his sharp mind and sense of humor, and the obvious impact he had on his children. A special man.

Dear "Dr. Genny",
We were so sorry to hear about your loss. Although we did not know your dad, if he was even a fraction of as wonderful as you are, we know he must have been much loved by many. If he had anything to do with you becoming a doctor, we would like to thank him greatly for that. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and all of your family. Keep faith that he is in a better place, at peace and that you will see him again in Heaven. May that give you some sense of peace now and as time goes on.
With our sincerest sympathy,
John, Anne and John Lizio

Dear all Dr. Joe Lambert descendents: I will always remember how wonerful your father was to me, all my family, kind, caring and loving. I will always remember how wonderful he was to work for as his secretary from 1957 to 1964 - wow 50+ years ago. Your father should be immortalized.

Terry, I'm sorry to hear that youir father has passed. I met him a couple of times and was impressed with his sense of humor and sort of ironic view of life. Without doubt he was one of the good ones. I'm sorry he's gone.

To all the Lamberts—my condolences over the loss of a truly “great guy.” Dr. Lambert’s presence was always felt. I have a photo of him from way back when—the 70s perhaps on the Belford’s boat—wearing a captain’s hat and resting his head on his elbows. Looking very Bing Crosby-ish, rather dashing! Sometime in the 80s, I recall his taking me, Genny and Christina to the Sign of the Dove in NYC. He was in command but always interested in others and always with a smile. Always willing to listen. The restaurant is gone and now so is Joe, but the memories remain. Love--

To All of the Lamberts
I can't tell you how sad I feel that your dad has passed on. I know what a difficult time it is. I have so many wonderful memories of him from the earliest days on South Windsor to his coming to stay with us in Florida.
He was such a wonderful friend to my parents and I can't help but think of what a wonderful place heaven must be now that he's reunited with your mom and all of his friends. You're all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,

When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.
So sorry for your loss.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Michael, Janet and all of "Dr. Joe's" wonderful family,
Your Dad was a true mentor and role model for so many who had the privledge of knowing him. He had a unique gift of relating to young people and he has touched the lives of so many in a very positive way.
He was a wonderful man who was committed to his family and his profession. He was kind, generous, selfless, patient and intelligent. He was also a great communicator with a wonderful sense of humor who loved his family, others and life.
The beautiful family that he leaves behind is a great tribute to his strong faith, values, character and love.
Although he will be missed by many, we are all grateful for the opportunity of having known your Dad and been touched by him in a special way.
May The Lord comfort you and your family in a very special way during this challenging time.
With deepest sympathy and love,
Paul and Carol
