My mother, Marian Knee Shandell, and Syd were very close friends. Syd was dear to our family. We have many wonderful memories of times spent with her. We will miss her.

Syd was beloved by all our family from my parents, Rose & Morris Shapiro on down to my children. From Westport to Palm Beach, a visit with her was always an occasion. Lots of laughs and much warmth. We miss her. Nina Agel
