GLORIA TORALBALLA Obituary

TORALBALLA--Gloria. Died at age 95 on January 16 in New York City. Former Professor of Chemistry and Department Chair at CUNY's Lehman College, where she retired as Professor Emeritus. Widow of Prof Leopoldo V. Toralballa, she is survived by son Leo; daughter-in-law Betsy; and grandsons Leopoldo Linwood and Julian. Memorial Services will be held at Church of St. Paul the Apostle, Ninth Ave., at 60th St, 1pm on Saturday, February 5th.

My parents Dr. & Mrs. Gregorio T. Velasquez were very good friends of Dr. & Mrs. Toralballa. Both my parents were constantly bringing back memories and stories of their experiences at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Our deepest sympathy and condolence to the family.

My parents were dear friends of Dr. & Mrs. Toralballa. My father who became head of the Philippine Science HS spoke very well of them. Thank you for the privilege of having met her through my parents.
