In 1971 my then 3 year old daughter had her hand stepped on by a horse. It was severely crushed, many broken bones and her middle finger held on by the skin of her middle joint, all of the bone, ligaments and tendons severed by the crushing event. Dr. Sharp performed a miracle in repairing her tiny hand, reattaching and rebuilding all of those tiny bones. Amputation wasn't an option for him as he worked for hours to put her back together. I'm forever grateful, as is Alana, for this effort and am sorry that I lost contact with the great doctor so many years ago. I woke up this morning with his name on my mind and in a Google search learned of his passing, of the wonderful life he lived. Thank you for the opportunity to remember him and to give thanks for his earthly presence. RIP Dr. Sharp.

Jake will be missed by those who knew, respected, and loved him.
We will cherish our special memories, especially our Happy Hour' get-togethers, enjoying martinis and good food, along with lively political and philosophical discussion and debate.
We are honored to have known Jake.
