I had very good memories of Todd during the time when his studio was at the old mattress factory in Atlanta. I was in my late teens/early twenties working with my father, brother and a woodworker/joiner named Walter Whitman. Todd was so nice to me by letting me come inside the studio and enjoy the artwork while I ate my sac lunch on the days he was there. He was working with Fay Gold at that time and would give us t-shirts for upcoming events. I spent hours there and he would ask about thoughts on artwork in production. One in particular was a massive painting of a white horse, which he was back and forth on a couple of ideas ..."plow" is the word written on it. It was a great memory for me, working laborious jobs, but had that escape with him. He didn't have to do that, but obviously it had an impact.

Todd will always be a gentle Giant, humble genius, and friend to so many who were touched by his generosity, easy going style, his sincere warmth, and welcoming presence to so many.
My thoughts and preyers to his entire family. XOXOX

My condolences on the loss of Todd. He was one of the funniest people I knew at Marist. Never mean, just funny.
