Patti Wolf Obituary

Patti Wolf, 52, of Waynesburg, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.
She was born August 24, 1963, in Washington, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Tucker Patterson.
Mrs. Wolf was a 1981 graduate of Trinity High School.
She worked for more than 10 years at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She loved making the residents smile, which included dressing up like Santa's elf and the Easter Bunny.
Mrs. Wolf was an angel on Earth. She touched countless people's lives with her genuine personality and generosity. She was always smiling and laughing, and her sense of humor was like no other's. She was a stay-at-home mother for her three girls until they were in high school. She was very involved in her daughters' cheerleading activities and never missed a practice, track meet, Parent-Teacher Association meeting, Girl Scouts meeting or many of her daughters' other activities. She was the most loving mother and her daughters' best friend.
She enjoyed life immensely with her loving husband of 32 years, Gregg, whether they were watching "Cops" and eating nachos with the dogs or riding four wheelers.
Mrs. Wolf had many friends and was always having dinners out with the girls, possibly having some margaritas and dancing to Prince.
She started working at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in 2005. She was perfect for the activities department and loved her job, and the residents and staff loved her so much. She had such a warm heart and was especially compassionate to the elderly. When she became ill, she wanted to make sure Rolling Meadows Nursing Home was where she went. She knew they would take tremendous care of her and missed seeing them daily at work. Her coworkers were always visiting her room, kissing her, painting her nails or just catching her up on the gossip. The wonderful, loving staff of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home took tremendous care of her.
Mrs. Wolf will be greatly missed by her family, friends, dogs and everyone whom she ever came across. She's now walking the streets of heaven, healthy and whole again, laughing with her parents. She will forever be her family's angel.
On October 9, 1982, she married Gregg A. Wolf, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Emily Wolf of Pittsburgh, Abbey Wolf of Waynesburg and Sarah Wolf of Waynesburg, and two sisters, Carol Dipiazza of Monessen and Donna Phillips of Washington.
Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. Monday, February 1, in Jefferson Volunteer Fire Company, 1483 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344. A meal will follow. Flowers can be delivered to Jefferson Volunteer Fire Company until 5 p.m. Monday. Arrangements are entrusted to Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.

Patti & I met in birthing class, as I was pregnant with Lonica & she with Emily. We were surprised at all the similarities in our lives. Both Patti (Patty) Sue, our moms worked in hospitals & our husbands worked in utilities. Our birthdays are 4 days apart, Emily & Lonica were 6 days apart. The twins (Abbey & Sarah) & Lacey joined the circle of friends a few years later. Patti & I were both stay at home moms & talked everyday. She was a major part of my life for the years I lived in Greene County. We reconnected through Facebook, but oh how I wish we had taken the time to meet face to face again. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Gregg, Emily, Abbey & Sarah.

You were an angel on earth and now you are an angel flying high above us watching over us. I can see you and your mom laughing together and remembering all the crazy things you did together at Rolling Meadows. There was never a day that went by when you didn't offer a smile to everyone you passed. You always took time to talk to anyone who needed comforting. You loved talking about your girls and your husband. We found we had a lot in common having graduated the same year. You truly were an amazing wife, mother, daughter and co-worker. Your pain has ended and you are healthy again. You will truly be missed by all!

I don't know where to start, I sit here and cry for what the world has lost, what your family and friends will miss. But I know I should start by realizing how glorious it was the moment you and your mom were
reunited and the celebration of love. Maybe I am selfish, I think of the person I lost; the funny, brassy, caring, loving person who did so much for so many. Who made me really laugh. I respected the "mom" in you and the awesome relationship you had with all your girls. You could just see love radiating from you when you were with them. And I know I am one of many people that you have touched. You had me at "Hi, I'm Patty!"....then the jokes and love started. I will miss you! I pray for peace for your family and I will celebrate your graduation to heaven!♡♡♡
