Joseph Ogrodowski Obituary
Joseph "Joe" Ogrodowski, 90, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 24, 2018, in his home at Lady Lake, Fla. with his wife of 70 years by his side.
Joe was born April 21, 1928, in Canonsburg. He was a sergeant in the U.S Army during the Korean War and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191, Canonsburg and the Pennsylvania Hall of Fame for Wrestling and. He received a Meritorious Achievement Award in 1994.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Norma; his three children, Pamela Frye (Mark), Jeffrey Ogrodowski (MaryAnn) and Todd Ogrodowski; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, in Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake, followed by a Celebration of Life held in Chapel of Christian Faith in Lady Lake at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chapel of Christian Faith. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake. Condolences may be left at www.BeyersFuneralHome.com.
