Jeffrey Eidens Obituary

Jeffrey Raymond Eidens Sr., 53, of Washington, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 2, 2015, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born March 2, 1962, in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of Sue Eidens of Cambridge and the late Robert R. Eidens.
Mr. Eidens was a graduate of John Glenn High School in Concord, Ohio.
He worked as a custodian for Trinity Area School District.
An avid horseman at The Meadows Racetrack, Mr. Eidens was a member of Meadow Lands Sportsmen's Club, Golden Bridge 4-H and West Virginia IBRA.
He enjoyed NASCAR and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
On March 12, 1988, he married Julie Ann Shuba, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are two sons, Jeffrey Raymond "J.R." Eidens and companion Shanon and Zachary Eidens, both of Washington; two grandchildren, Jace and Whitney; four brothers, Richard (Sharon) Eidens of Massillon, Ohio, Robert (Debbie) Eidens of Hudson, Ohio, Charles Eidens of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Dana (Shari) Eidens of Blacklick, Ohio; eight sisters, Patty (Norman) Wilson of Hartville, Ohio, Robin (John) Green of Oakwood Village, Ohio, Debbie Foss of Massillon, Connie (Jim) Back of Mogadore, Ohio, Trina (Randy) Stoner of Cambridge, Tammy (Ron) Jeffery of Stow, Ohio, Teri (Craig) Johnson of Cambridge and Amy Higginbotham of Danville, Ohio; his father-in-law, John Shuba Jr. of Washington; three brothers-in-law, John (Donna) Shuba of Hickory, Mike (Sheila) Shuba of Washington and Kevin (Tara) Shuba of Burgettstown; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Betts of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 9, with Pastor Joe DiDonato officiating.
