Brad Catalano Obituary

Brad F. Catalano, 58, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington, following a brave fight with a brief illness.
He was born May 9, 1959, in DuBois, a beloved son of Arch F. and Nancy L. Catalano of Rossiter.
Mr. Catalano graduated from Punxsutawney High School and Bethany College with a degree in communication where he was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
In 1981, he married Kathryn Molinengo, his college sweetheart. In 1989, Mr. and Mrs. Catalano moved to Washington, where they raised their three children.
He spent most of his career working as an executive trainer for 84 Lumber, before moving on to a position at Bank of America in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Catalano loved fishing, spending time at his family's camp in Potter County, and feeding the deer, birds and ducks that often congregated in his backyard.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and parents, are three cherished children, Angela Holbert (Andrew), Emily Catalano (Robert Mancini) and Eric Catalano; a brother, William Catalano (Karen); a brother-in-law, William (Virginia) Molinengo and family; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Molinengo.
He leaves behind his beloved cat, Max.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 119 West Chestnut Street, Washington. Burial will be held Monday, May 15, in Union Hill Cemetery, 146 Union Hill Road, Rossiter, PA 15772.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, P.O. Box 66, Eighty Four, PA, 15301, or Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.

I had the pleasure to know Brad while he worked for Bank of America. Brad was an amazing person. Always very caring toward his co-workers. He was liked by all. He always had stories to share. He enjoyed talking about his children to all who would lend an ear. I am very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
