BROWN, JOHNNY RAY, 46
Hopkinsville, KY - Johnny Ray Brown, 46, passed away September 21, 2012.
He was born in Ocala to Frank A. Brown and Mary (Sims) Brown on October 4, 1965. Johnny graduated from North Marion High School. Soon after he served his country in the Army for ten years and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. When discharged, he made Clarksville, TN his home and later moved to Hopkinsville, KY.
He worked for Wal-Mart in Ocala and TN for ten years. Johnny chose to go into food service working as a manager for Shoney's, Applebee's and started a new career as an assistant manager with Cracker Barrel in Madisonville, KY.
He is survived by his mother Mary and stepfather Buddy Taff; the love of his life, Tina Welcher; and children Angela Brown of TN, Rachel, Joshua Brown, of KY; stepdaughter, Teear Welcher KY; two sisters, Teresa Shriver, Belleview, Shelia Perhealth, Summerfield; a brother, Frank Brown Jr., Ocala; two stepbrothers Dennis and Jimmy Taft Ocala; grandmother Dorothy Sims, Ocala. He also had two nieces, KyLeigh Siska, Shelby Shriver, Belleview; three nephews, Jonathan of Summerfield, Mike of Anthony, Ethan of Ocala; and one great nephew Myer of Anthony.
Memorial Services will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 7 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church, 10835 S.E. 70th Ave. Belleview, FL., Pastor Rocky Culpepper officiating.
A good bye service will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY.

ive known johnny for the past 15 or more years, we were close best friends at times. i will miss him and surely never forget him. he was a great man!!its very hard to believe hes just gone... gone way to soon. my thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends.
