Anthony R. Abbate, Jr.

FLORIDA -- Anthony R. Abbate, Jr., of Boca Raton, Fla., passed away September 15, 2008 at home.

Anthony, called Antonio by many, was a gentle spirit and a true artist. Music and golf were his true passions. His creativity through his songs will live on in all of our hearts.

Antonio, you ``Stand as One". We trust in God's sovereign mercy and take comfort in the fact that you are reunited with Mom and Dad. We love you more than words can say.

Antonio was my best friend, my partner in music several bands, my golf teacher, my Uncle to my kids and travel partner for golf Excursions from the East Coast to the West Coast. I was the first one to find him to ceased when he didn't show up for work and I went to his house. I was so devastated by the event I couldn't even look at his pictures without having major depression. Almost 15 years later now the pictures are back up here. They are just two, but I've got many more rest in peace, my brother.

I received a card from Walsh regarding Tony and was saddened to hear of his passing. Tony and I played golf on the Walsh Jesuit team, and I have so many great memories. He made me laugh more than anyone I've known since. He was a great guy.
