Darrell G. VanHoy

Darrell G. VanHoy, age 60, passed away June 4, 2004.

He was born to George and Martha VanHoy on July 10, 1943, in Kessler, W. Va. Darrell served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserves. He worked at BF Goodrich in Research & Development for 26 years, then as a dietary manager at Valley View Nursing Home for the past 14 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, and is survived by son, Greg (Linda) VanHoy; daughter, Stephanie Miller; granddaughters, Ariell, Amanda and Amber; and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Calling hours SUNDAY from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333. (COX, Barberton, 330-745-3311.)
